A search that began in the classrooms of the School of Fine Arts, where Walter Alcarraz discovered that art is not only seen—it is felt. There he explored painting, color, form, and light until he found in sculpture a deeper language: one capable of giving body to memory, symbol, and emotion.
With more than two decades dedicated to the craft, his work has become a bridge between ancestral Peru and contemporary Peru. Each piece is born in his studio as a creative ritual, among tools that carry years of stories, pigments that hold silence, and materials waiting to become meaning.
